He introduced the opportunities and challenges brought by the RCEP agreement to the light industry, and put forward countermeasures. He pointed out that the full implementation of RCEP will promote the foreign trade and industrial development of light industry. But at the same time, RCEP will also bring two major challenges to the light industry: one is the outward transfer of low-end labor-intensive industries in the domestic value chain; the other is the investment and construction of high-end industries in the foreign value chain in China, which will lead to cooperation with Chinese companies in the Chinese market. The competition is more intense. Guo Yongxin puts forward five suggestions on how to deal with the challenges of light industry: one is to lay out industries in the whole district; the other is to expand exports with international standards as a passport. The third is to properly deal with trade frictions. Fourth, increase brand awareness and brand value; fifth, strengthen technological innovation and enhance the value of the industrial chain.
